Lucinda E Clarke

Lucinda E Clarke was born in Dublin, dragged up in the Cotswolds and finished off at college in Liverpool, England. She’s lived in 8 different countries, including Libya, Botswana, Kenya and South Africa, and gone from millions to poverty and a little way back up again. At various times home has been a farm, a mansion, a one bed flat and a boat. She’s run the worst riding school in the world, bred small animals for pet shops, presented on radio and cleaned apartments. She ‘fell’ into the media by failing a drama audition, which launched her writing career over 30 years ago. From scripting for radio and television, she inadvertently climbed the production ladder and then founded her own video company. She’s met royalty and heads of state but also climbed rubbish dumps in informal settlements to earn a living. She now lives in Spain pretending to be retired.
